The 2023 Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Cape Cod Getaway, a 2-day bicycle fundraising ride utilizing amateur radio for rest stop and route support communications coordinating ancillary, mechanical, medical volunteer support servicing the participant needs.
We will be running Net Control again this year from our Communications Trailer on Saturday from Kingston and Sunday from Wellfleet and may be reached on the air as ‘MS Net Control’ or my cell 508-944-1898 as needed.

The National Weather Service will conduct a SkyWarn training class on April 18, 2023 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Sandwich Police Department, 255 Cotuit Road, Sandwich, MA 02563.
Registration is required and the link is on the Boston NWS SkyWarn web page.

Many BARC members will be in attendance, so if you are considering making the trip ask around, and you may be able to carpool (if you want). This is a multiple-day event, but the primary buy/sell day starts early on Friday. If you plan on only attending one day, Friday is the day. If you are coming up on Saturday, plan on arriving first thing in the morning as some sellers start packing up early, around noon, even though the Fest ends at 2 PM.

Call for volunteers. Operators will use HTs to provide communication over the BARC repeater with event coordinators at rest stops along the route. Different routes each day.
Please do not use the BARC repeater for routine traffic on Fridada the 9th and Sunday the 11th to reserve it for the Walk organizers.
